For years, I suffered from debilitating migraines. I went from doctor to doctor, had countless tests, and was repeatedly told that everything looked "normal." But I didn't feel normal.
The migraines became a regular part of my life, and the only way to get relief was to go to bed. As a full-time teacher and mom, that simply wasn't an option most days, so I pushed through and hoped each migraine would eventually pass.
Everything changed one evening while I was scrolling Instagram. I came across a post about gluten and bloating—not migraines—but it made me think about how often I felt bloated. I decided to try eliminating gluten, hoping it might help.
Two weeks later, I accidentally ate gluten, and almost immediately, one of my familiar migraines returned.
That moment changed everything.
I had started eating gluten-free to reduce bloating, but I discovered it was also the missing piece behind years of migraines. For the first time in a long time, I felt like myself again.
That experience opened my eyes to something I had never considered before: no one had ever asked me what I was eating. While medication and testing certainly have an important place, I realized that nutrition and lifestyle deserved a seat at the table, too.
I became passionate about helping others become their own health advocates and looking beyond symptom management to uncover potential root causes.
In 2023, I earned my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). The following year, I became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.
Around that same time, I discovered epigenetic hair analysis. After completing a test myself and seeing the insights it provided, I knew I wanted to offer this service to others.
Today, I offer epigenetic hair analysis as part of my personalized approach to helping clients uncover potential root causes of their health concerns. By combining personalized testing, nutrition, and practical lifestyle strategies, I help individuals and families move beyond guessing so they can better understand what their bodies need to thrive.
Because I believe the best health transformations don't happen by simply masking symptoms—they happen when we get to the root.
If you're ready to stop guessing and start getting to the root of your health concerns, I'd love to help. Whether you're looking for personalized health coaching or want to learn more about epigenetic hair analysis, let's connect.
